This is an assemblage construction piece entitled il volo (the flight.)
This piece envolved completely found objects and a piece of an etching from an old Italian book of engravings from the early 1800's. Old window frame panels are used...old shabby chic wood, rusted wooden wings, hand print block stamp, sewing spool...and many other subtle eccentricities. Measurements are 17"x 14"x 4". A one of a kind ORIGINAL!!!! |
